Oxfam fair Organic Green Tea, 50 Tea Bags (100g)

Oxfam fair Organic Green Tea, 50 Tea Bags (100g)

Oxfam fair range of tea is as fresh as it can be! The tea leaves are hand-picked by small farmers located in the famous James Valley in Ceylon - now Sri Lanka. The leaves are then processed and packed at the organic tea factory Avonlea Hill in Diyatalawa, in Ceylon, using a traditional method to ensure freshness and maximise the level of antioxidants. Green tea is made from unfermented leaves and because of this it contains the highest concentration of antioxidants (called polyphenols) in particular a group call catechins which are reputed to have a host of health benefits.

The packaging used is designed to seal in the tea aroma, flavour and freshness. All packaging is 100% environmentally friendly; the plastic film cover is biodegradable and the carton and tea envelopes are recyclable.
